DVM

Black Dog Veterinary Services is an AAHA-accredited, Fear Free certified, Cat-Friendly certified small animal veterinary hospital located in Bozeman, Montana.  Our patients consist primarily of dogs and cats, but we do offer limited services to rabbits, ferrets, and other pocket pets. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with providing small animal urgent care and dentistry.  The hospital is also looking to expand alternative therapies and/or exotics services, so great opportunity for an interested candidate, with additional categories considered.

In addition to general small animal practice care and procedures, we offer advanced orthopedic surgeries, digital radiography, ultrasound, and dentistry (with digital radiography standard on all procedures) and in-house laboratory. Additionally, we offer PRP, laser therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, pEMF therapy and rehabilitation and have access to endoscopy as needed.  We utilize a cloud based PIMS system, a transcription software for easy records and are actively investigating other advanced technologies to streamline practice efficiency.

We are looking for someone with a great positive attitude, the ability to work well with others and the desire to provide a high standard of care to our patients. New DVM graduates are welcomed as our current veterinarians have several years of experience and are happy to provide mentorship. Currently looking for a full-time DVM, with a four-day work week - no on-call, no holidays, nights, or weekends.  Must have a DVM degree from an accredited university, ability to obtain Montana license and good oral and written communication skills.  Salary dependent on experience, compensation paid as guaranteed base salary with production bonus (no negative accrual).  Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, pet insurance, matching 401K, paid time off, continuing education, association dues, Montana license, and professional liability insurance.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, flexible, outgoing, easy to work with and have a strong desire to practice high-quality medicine and surgery.  Live, work and play in beautiful Southwest Montana, with proximity to hiking, fishing, skiing, climbing, mountain biking and other recreational opportunities in a strong community with excellent schools.
