Are you looking for a consistent schedule? Do you enjoy the rewards of being a busy, productive clinician but want to leave on time to enjoy life outside of work? Do you need a practice where you can focus on being a DVM?
If so, then Four Paws is the place for you!
About Four Paws Veterinary Clinic:
Four Paws Veterinary Clinic began as a 1-doctor practice in 2002 and has since grown into a thriving 3-DVM clinic. We provide top-notch wellness, medical, dental, and surgical care for dogs and cats. We are invested in both our patients and the people we serve.
At Four Paws, we focus on what truly matters—our patient’s healthcare. We believe ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’ and have developed a strong senior wellness program, parasite prevention education, and encourage regular dental care. When illness/injury strikes, we have all of the necessary in-house diagnostic tools to get our patients on the road to recovery quickly.
We recognize that without our clients and patients, we would not exist. We have established processes and procedures to ensure a consistent experience every time a client visits. This consistency fosters comfort, builds trust, and creates a long-lasting bond with the clinic. Clear expectations for patient care help minimize communication gaps and reduce conflict.
At Four Paws, our core values drive our decisions and we want people who fit those values. We want people who strive to do their best each and every day. We focus on patients, say no to drama or gossip, and commit to excellence. In return, we maintain an organized schedule, streamline workflows, and provide well-trained support staff who excel in client education and patient care.
About You:
You’re a veterinarian who thrives on both the challenges and the rewards of each day. Problem-solving energizes you but does not impede your ability to actively listen to the client’s concerns. You are curious, a good detective, and persuasive with the goal of achieving the best outcome for the patient.
We need someone who is comfortable leaning into tough conversations and challenges. Whether it’s advocating for a patient’s best interest, providing feedback to colleagues, or asking for help with a procedure, you understand that growth often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone. You believe in being the change you want to see in the profession.
You are someone who is able to see the forest as well as the trees. Being able to see the big picture, have excellent time management, and delegating duties are key to keeping appointments on time, making sure patients receive the care they need, and ensuring everyone gets home on time to rejuvenate for the next day.
You appreciate the importance of processes and standards in ensuring clear communication with clients and colleagues. And you recognize that processes are always evolving. You welcome the opportunity to contribute positively to advancing our standards and improving our workflows.
Lifelong learning is a part of who you are. Opportunities for learning and growth happen every day, you recognize and take advantage of the opportunities as they present themselves. If you are new to veterinary medicine, we have an organized mentorship program to help you be a successful general practitioner. Been doing vet med for a while? We have an onboarding checklist to make sure you have what you need to succeed at our practice.
