Big Sky Pet Center is actively seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our team. Both experienced Veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.  This exciting opportunity provides the ideal candidate with a flexible schedule that does not include nights or weekends.

About Us:

Big Sky Pet Center is a privately owned small animal practice located in the beautiful city of Billings, MT- the largest city in Big Sky Country- with close proximity to numerous outdoor activities. Dr. Rob Bruner built our practice in 2005, with much thought and consideration regarding client relationships and patient care. Since this time the practice has grown and progressed immensely. We are a close team that support one another through encouraging growth, sharing mutual understanding, and promoting increased knowledge and learning.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian that is compassionate about providing the gold standard of patient care, works well under pressure and is confident in their abilities while still eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care for pets
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases in animals
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to provide comprehensive care

Skills:
- Animal catheterization: Ability to insert and manage catheters in animals for various medical procedures
- Veterinary critical care: Proficiency in providing emergency medical treatment and critical care to animals
- Animal care: Knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and general care practices
- Aseptic technique: Understanding and implementation of sterile techniques to prevent infection during medical procedures
- Animal handling: Ability to safely handle various types of animals during examinations and procedures
- Laboratory: Proficiency in conducting laboratory tests and interpreting results for diagnostic purposes

What do we offer?

Flexible schedule: 4 weekdays per week, 8:00-5:30pm full time OR 2 days per week 8:00am- 5:30pm. No nights, holidays, or weekends!
