Veterinary Technician

About the Role:

As a Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of our veterinary team, assisting veterinarians in a variety of clinical tasks. Your work

will range from supporting in-surgical procedures, performing diagnostics, and assisting in exams, to offering compassionate care and handling for patients. We value a team-oriented approach and a commitment to lifelong learning and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgeries.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs.
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery.
• Provide client education on preventative care, post-operative care, and general wellness.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Uphold clinic standards for cleanliness and patient safety.
• Share On-Call duties equally with other technicians.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician preferred. New Grads welcome to apply.
• Education: Completion of a veterinary technology program (certification/licensure preferred)
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, multitasking skills, and critical thinking skills.
• Attributes: Compassionate, team player, and dedicated to patient care
• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle and restrain animals, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
