Responsibilities:

Successful applicant will provide canine and feline emergency/urgent/critical care while maintaining exemplary customer service.  We love our clients and employees; we expect them to be treated with kindness by all members of the team.  You will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of dedicated veterinary assistants and technicians during your shift while they do treatments, diagnostics and communicate the financial aspects of the visit with the client.  Proficiency in both medical and surgical case management is necessary.  Must be comfortable in surgery and high paced environment where multitasking is required.  Experience with Avimark is beneficial but not required.  Essential to have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and be a team player.  Motivated new graduates with an interest in emergency medicine and surgery are encouraged to apply.  We have mentored other new graduates and are happy to make a custom mentoring plan for you.  

Schedule:

Rotating schedule consisting of days, nights, weekends and holidays.  10 - 12 shifts per month.  Possibility for part-time position as well.   12-hour shifts.  No on call.  Flexible schedule and ample time off set this opportunity apart and allows you time to enjoy all that Montana has to offer!

Benefits: 

• 125K+ in compensation.
• Guaranteed base salary (100K) based on 12 shifts/month.
• 20K Signing Bonus. 
• 5K Federal student loan repayment assistance available upon request.
• Additional bonuses paid based on quarterly production brings total annual compensation to between 125K and 175K.
• Willing to consider part-time position as well.

Additional Information:

• Guaranteed Base Salary with Quarterly Bonuses paid based on production (prosal).  No negative accrual!
• Must be licensed in the state of Montana or be able to obtain license in Montana. 
• Must have or be able to obtain a DEA registration. 
• Be able to lift 50#. 
• Any experience level is considered. 
• Even if you haven't done a splenectomy, R&A, or GDV, we can help!  Mentoring is available.
