Veterinarian! Consistent 3 day weekends, NO call or holidays

On Point Veterinary Services is a PRIVATELY owned, hospital, focusing on canine-centric care. That’s right! Dogs only! Our building features large exam rooms, a rehab suite, in house BW, digital dental and full body rads, US, etc. We strive to follow AAHA standards and are pursuing AAHA certification. Our hospital is within walking distance of numerous restaurants as well as the river.  Our culture is one that promotes a high quality of life as well as high quality medicine.  We schedule long appointments to allow for comprehensive workups.  We have an entirely web based EMR system making note taking a breeze (our techs write most of your notes for you). 

Traits were looking for :)

• You sit on the floor to examine your canine patients.
• You enjoy having 45 minutes to work up sick visits and enjoy getting to know your patients and families.
• You think surgery is awesome and are interested in doing more.
• Maybe you're certified in acupuncture (not required, but that would be cool!)
• You're excited to collaborate on cases and support a culture of learning in your new practice.
• The idea of paper records makes your wrists hurt.  Our EMR system can be logged into ANYWHERE.
• You really, really love dogs.
• You don't want to work a 40 hr work week (we hear you!). 

Compensation/Benefits:

• 120,000 base salary PLUS PRODUCTION paid monthly. NO negative accruals
• Tuesday-Friday work week (3-day weekends for the win!). NO on-call/after-hours or holiday hours.  Last appt is at 4:30 pm.  Because we deserve dinner with our families too. Average work week is around 36 hours a week.

We have gorgeous, warm summers and fairly mild winters. We have a beautiful, historic downtown with wine bars, a distillery and two breweries. We have top-rated schools and a family-oriented community that hosts numerous community events and activities. We are surrounded by hiking, fishing, skiing and hunting opportunities. The “big city” of Missoula is a short 40 mile drive away and offers referral to two emergency veterinary hospitals, a board certified veterinary dentist and a veterinary specialty hospital. Missoula also has an international airport and is home to the University of Montana.
