Pruyn Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility that has been servicing Missoula, Montana since 1949! We practice high-quality medicine and surgery for small animals, and exotics. We are looking for an experienced associate to join the existing five DVMs that are currently at Pruyn.  Come work and live in your Montana paradise! About the Hospital:

  • Digital Radiology, with all files read by a boarded radiologist
  • Surgical and Therapeutic Laser
  • Video Endoscope and Laparoscope
  • 3 Ultrasounds
  • 2 Well-equipped surgery suites with blood pressure, EKG, pulse oximetry, and end-tidal CO2 monitoring equipment
  • 2 Well-equipped dental tables 
  • Ligasure and Cautery Equipment
  • Digital Dental Radiology
  • We offer a variety of soft issue and orthopedic surgeries
  • Full in-house lab, and additional off-site reference lab (two Idexx Catalyst One Chemistry Analyzers, Idexx Procyte Hematology Analyzer, and Idexx Coagulation Analyzer)
  • Veterinary Rehabilitiation (a new Summus Platinum 4 Therapeutic Laser, and a suite of new exercise equipment)

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
  • Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
  • Manages time and tasks appropriately.
